After I installed my Epson SX415 printer on my PC (Windows XP Home Edition) I came to the step where I connect the printer to the PC using a USB cable. The PC flashed up a blue screen for a second and proceeded to reboot and continued to reboot repeatedly until I powered off the printer.
It happens sometimes.--this means there is a conflict between the files supported by your printer.try removing the drivers then reboot the system and then make a fresh installation of printer drivers.this will solve the problem.
This will
help. Thanks please keep
updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
Hi,
try this power up your PC and go to auto add hardware make the pc look for the hardware if it cant find it that shows that this model is not present .
2, click again add hardware choose manual search here you add your model then the should be installed .
Swap the USB port may be port not good .
Good luck
Unplug the printer and install updates (start > all programs> windows update - up at the top- and be sure your are running service pack 3). this may take a few runs and reboots through windows update. Then try re-installing the printer.
