My girlfriend got a dell inspirion mini 10 for christmas and we've been using it's webcam and if she doesn't have the power cable in the computer it runs fine, but when she plugs the power cable into the computer it after a while, freezes and shuts down automatically, what would cause the computer to shut down under those conditions? Webcam, and plugged into wall (With out webcam it runs everything else fine while plugged up) Before it shuts down, the webcams get slow and laggy, and we start to break up, then it shuts down skype and turns off.

Thats just your computer ending the process of skype.
As for the pc shutting down automaticly it can be that its oveheating!!
On my Dell Inspiron 2200 I get the Blue Screen every 2 hours and I dont mind.
Might be bad memory

Reset administration password for a dell inspirion 500m
turn on the computer --> press f8 on start up after flashing of the bios screen

it shows advanced start up options from the menu select safe mode

then it shows classic logon screen type username as administrator leave password as empty and press enter

now you can reset the password using user account control panel or using computer management from control panel

I got error bootmgr is missing in dell inspirion mini 10. i dont have product recovery cd
Try to restore factory image of your system by going to the advance boot option: (restart your computer keep tapping F8 on the Dell screen).

- Select Fix your Computer and press Enter.
- Click Next when you get to the keyboard/language page.
- If asked for a password, Type your password when you log in to your desktop.
- System will automatically restore your computer to factory image/settings.

Note: Your files will be deleted when you restore system to factory image.

Try this: Disconnect AC power, pull the battery, then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Release the button, replace the battery & AC, and try booting.

I connected my DELL MINI Inspirion 10 via HDMI to LCD TV. have a good pic, but haven any sound (can play movie, but nothing voice). Check everything, no find problem. Can u help me?

HDMI is only used for Video output and not for sound, you will have to use your laptop audio out (has a pic of headphones), you are able to get headphone jack to phono (white / Red) cable to connect to TV or surround sound system or your laptop speakers.
