Your harddrive is locked and is asking for a password call toshiba and they'll be able to help you.

Check to make sure the screensaver settings are correct. Adding RAM to a PC won't change how the screensaver works, unless you also added some software that is not letting it sit idle long enough for the screensaver to come on.

Check to see if the hard drive is recognized in the bios. If it is, try reloading the computer from the recovery disk supplied with the computer. This will take the computer back to the original factory state.

It may not be a video driver problem but rather the software that you are using to watch the DVD. Are you using windows media player and if so what version. Ver. 11 is the latest. Before installing any more drivers. download Power DVD trial version and see if you can play the DVD with it. If you can, your drivers are OK. Come back when you have done this and let me know how you get on.
