For PC music ( I suppose mainly mp3) you don't need any extra-quality amp, any older Yamaha stereo amp will do. I don't know which of them are available in stores near you, but if you write some model numbers I can check their specs and advise more.
If your PC has spdif output (coax or optical) go for amp which has digital input available.

Is only playing mono when listening to music

It sounds like an error in the wiring of the speakers. Check that very closely.

Plays only mono when listening to music

I lot could depend on how the music source has been connected to the receiver. If you are using a stereo CD player then you may need to check if it is configured to send audio in stereo mode and not mono. The input source selection for the audio is given in page 26 of the manual.
You can go to the setting menu in Receiver and configure the speakers settings according to which ones you have installed.
Also refer page 25 in the manual to over ride speaker configuration if it is not showing correct.

I have a jamo 200 sub and jamo s602 speaker how do i wire so i can listen to music from my ipad to the speakers

the easiest solution is to get yourself a cord that switches from headphone plug to RCA and connect it that way. I sure hope that this helps you in hooking your ipad up to the Jamo 200 Sub. Thanks, Cody

Hi! I have purchased a JAMO S608 HCS 3 and a SUB 650 using an OKYO TX-SR508 Receiver. I can't set it up correctly. When I played music I've heard a lot of bass, I think there are some high...

The TX has speaker setup and test tones for setting the balance and distance with test tones and proving the hardware works. If that all works the difference is probably external or settings.

What is different between the music source(s) audio and the HD movie source(s) audio? Ask yourself, how would a sub make high frequencies go missing? It can't.

Your other speakers are responsible for conveying the high frequencies.

I have a Jamo S606 and a Onkyo SRtx 608 how can i get the best output from my speakers???

That is a subjective question. Set it/them up in accordance with the manuals and you will achieve something close to the best they are capable of (*).

* If you're looking at those jumpers on the back, leave them alone and read up on the myth of biwiring (buy-wiring).

My jamo sub 200 & pioneer vsx517 receiver is not working properly

What do you mean that it sometimes doesn't work? It doesn't power on automatically?
Check settings of your receiver - if it has subwoofer output enables and if low frequencies from all channels are directed also to the SUB. By default only the LFE channel (.1) of 5.1 signal input is fed to the subwoofer. So Sub will work in this case only when you listen to 5.1 signal (DVD movie for example), but for radio or stereo music, only front speakers are used. By configuring this bass redirect, you can use subwoofer for all signal types.

My S606 developed a problem whilst playing. Sound especially from front towers has turned flat. Speakers are under warranty. Could this be a tweeter issue

Try doing an auto-calibration through your amp to check that all the speakers are correctly connected, if they are then try play around with the EQ. otherwise, chances are it's a manufacturing fault

Wiring speakers to amp for both 5.1 channel and 4 speaker listeni

I am assuming that you want to have a normal stereo ( 2 channel ) from, CDs, Radio Etc.. To be able to play from all of your speakers for a more surrounding sound experience, for parties or just more sound. I am also assuming you currently have your speakers wired like standard 5.1 in the bottom diagram on page 19 of your receiver manual. To change the way the sound is coming from your speakers you will need to refer to the “Sound Field Programs” part of your manual starting on page 52. You will want to be in the input source you would like to change “ie: radio” Let assume you want to change radio, once the radio is on; Rotate the “N” Program selector, (or press “5” and then “12” Prog < /> repeatedly ). You will want to change to program, “7ch Stereo” this should take your 2ch signal and send it to all connected speakers. If this does not work, please let me know.

I have no amp for jamo 1060 sub

Dual Voice-Coil
The unique Dual Voice-Coil design allows both left and right channel sound from just one speaker. Simply hook up both the left and the right channels to the special terminals on the speaker. Hook up one channel only, if the speaker is to be used in a conventional stereo set-up.
I found this on jamo site hope that will help you
