Washer goes though wash cycle fine , but when high speed spin cycle starts loud banging starts sounds like it is coming from the back
I had the same problem with noisy spins - rear basket support was cracked in 9 places.
The tub is mounted on shocks if you look in side the tub near where the tub seem is take the screws out of the vane and slide it foward and take it out look in the hole for foreign objects in between the inner and outer tub then follow this procedure to check the drain pump
if you have a shop vac this is time to vacuum the water of the tub and all the way down the drain hole for the next stage usally i tell customers to remove the drain hose from the stand pipe and vacuum the water out of the washer from the drain hose but because of the pillow this might not work in your case. Now remove the two screws on the front lower panel and pull the panel
in side you will see the drain pump if you did not have a shop vac go to the auto parts store and buy a pair of radiator hose clamps and clamp the hose line as close to the washer as possible.(but put down some towels as water always stays there) then pull the tub to pump hose by depressing the squeeze clamp(now while your at the auto parts id get a screw clamp to replace the spring clamp it makes putting the hose back on a lot easier)pull the hose off. Then pull the pump to drain hose off .Remove the two 5/16 in screws securing the pump to the washer base.Unplug the connector and remove the pump inspect the pump for foreign objects, broken or stripped impeller blades . if the impeller are stripped you will have to replace the pump then form the front of the washer take a piece of water hose with one end cut off and run it down the pump to drain end of the drain and reassemble the unit
This is the second time I have had to replace the drum/support shaft on this washer. Not only is it expensive, but very difficult to replace. Probably the very worst washer on the market for this reason. And I only do 3-4 light loads of laundry per week. A definate design flaw on the part of the manufacturer.

the nut at the back is tight, i lift the drum from the inside and it moves about 1/4 to 1/8 of an inch the noise sounds like marbles banging around
what does the drain pump have to do with my problem?? the noise almost sounds like the drum itself and the flywheel are banging together at the high speed rinse. I have occainally had some grease on some clothing bearing maybe??
I have the same problem with my Frigidaire washer and when I opened it up the housing that holds the shaft for the inner wash basket was broken. This seems to be a common problem with these front loading washers. I checked my warranty and there is a 25 year warranty on for a replacement part for the inner wash basket. DO NOT use the washer because the vibration and noise could detach the front rubber boot from the inner basket making this a more expensive than it already is.
Call Frigidaire and see if this is the part that is covered under the warranty because I am calling them tommorrow.
During the final spin cycle our machine sounds like boulders are banging around in the machine. We have taken apart the outer panel and nothing is broken, have not opened the housing to the basket though. This sound is not during the spining of the normal part of the cycle only during the last final spin. Help!
I am having the same problem but i also am having an additional problem. I absolutly hate this washer and dryer if I could have my old ones back I would!!!
VIBRATES BADLY IN MEDIUM SPIN CYCLE. TWO TECHS LOOKED AT IT AND SAID THATS HOW THEY ALL ARE. WISH I HAD MY OLD MACHINES INSTEAD OF THESE
Frigidare 9 cycle 2 speed washer . won't drain out water during rinse nor at the end of the wash cycle?
open the top and check to see if the nut is tight on the top belt pully on the drum
