Bottom water sprayer not spining

If the dishwasher won't clean dishes, check the lower wash arm assembly. If the lower wash arm isn't getting water, all of the dishes in the lower rack will come out dirty. Check to be sure the lower wash arm assembly spins freely. Also check to be sure the little holes in the lower wash arm aren't clogged or blocked.

Dishes not cleaning after full cycle running

Your screens are plugged with food residue in the bottom of the unit. clean it out. You can use 1 gallon of white vinegar for your wash after you clean the screens. Start your washer to fill with water but after the water starts, open your door and pore all of the gallon in the unit. Let it now run for 4 minutes and stop it by opening the door. Leave the door slightly open for 1 hour. close the door and let the cycle continue for 4 more minutes. open the door and repeat it a couple of more times. Let it sit all night with the vinegar in it and in the morning - close the door and let the cycle continue to the end. This should help soften and clean out the food particles in the unit. You can repeat the process and get a better cleaning then too. All the scale should be off your dishes now.

QuitePower1 Dishwasher won't wash! Fills/empties, but no spray.

Hi Rockwallcond.
Follow the following steps.

Step 1
Wait approximately 90 seconds for the light to turn off if the "Start/Reset" indicator light flashes. Press the "Start/Reset" button to restart the wash cycle.
Step 2
Close the dishwasher door and move the latch to the locked position if you hear a beep once every 30 seconds when the dishwasher should be operating. The dishwasher will not operate if the door is open.
Step 3
Turn on the hot water faucet and feel the water to check if it is hot. Wait for the water to warm up before running the dishwasher if the water is not hot. Check that you have proper water pressure and wait for the pressure to return to normal if it is low. Your dishes may not come out clean if the water is not the correct temperature or if you have low water pressure.
Step 4
Move the dishes on the racks so that they do not block the detergent dispenser or washer arms on the bottom of the machine. The dishes will not come out clean if they block the detergent dispenser or the washer arms.
Step 5
Load the proper amount of detergent in the dishwasher if you find spots or film form on your glasses. If you have hard water, use a rinsing product such as Jet-Dry in the dishwasher to clean the spots or film. If the problem persists, wash smaller loads of dishes.
Step 6
Add only automatic dishwasher detergent to the dishwasher if you find excessive suds in the tub after running a cycle. Measure out the proper amount of detergent.
Step 7
Press the "Heated Dry," "Hot Start," "Hot Wash" and "Added Heat" buttons, if you find that your dishes are not fully dry after a wash cycle completes.
Step 8
Press and hold the "Heated Dry" button on the dishwasher for approximately three seconds if the control pad does not respond to button presses. This is the child lock that prevents unwanted use of the dishwasher.

An alternative: Reboot your control • Turn off power to the dishwasher (circuit breaker or wall switch) for
30 seconds; then turn back on.

Kenmore Elite dishwasher will not dissolve soap or wash well.

Temperature should be 140F. and the units heater should energize during fill to achieve this.

ASKO MODEL 1996 WILL NOT WASH DISHES

Don't know if this will help, but my dishwasher has a "propeller" device above the top and bottom racks that spins while dispensing the water. If the dishes on either rack are stacked too high (i.e. if even one plate comes in contact with that propeller, keeping it from spinning properly) the dishwasher will go through its full cycle but will not use the soap (soap door will still be closed and soap packet still intact) and will not get the dishes clean.

DISHES COME OUT WITH DIRT ON THEM

Your incoming water temp should be about 140 degrees. If not boost your water heater temp.
Check the dishwasher drain line. It should be tied up under the bottom of the sink to prevent sink water from backing down the drain into the DW.

Wash Arms not spinning --Dishes not clean

Without the model number of your Maytag number, I can not determine if when you order a wash pump motor you also get the impeller.
Sounds like you are on the right path to getting your dishwasher to wash dishes again.
Oh, while you have the dishwasher open, check that the heating element has not failed using a Multimeter.

Good Luck!

LG LDF6810ST Stainless Built In Dishwasher

It is very common that high eficiency, low water using dishwashers take longer to finish all cycles. The best way to "hurry" the washing is to make sure that the water heater is providing hot water of at least 120 degrees. But no hotter then 140 degrees.
If the dishwasher runs even longer, check to see is the dishwasher is actually connected to the cold water line. This dishwasher can be run from cold water but the water heating phase in the cycles will add much time ti the entire cycle.

This unit has a sensor that detects the detects the water clarity towards the end of the wash cycle. Rinsing the dishes may speed the load a little, but encourage not to go crazy on the rinsing because the dishwasher actually counts on the food particles to help clean the dishes.
Also, note that the final (third) blinking light means drying. You can simply open the door anytime after the final draining and power off the dishwasher, allowing the hot dishes to air dry.
Hope this helps. Please resply with your findings. Thanks!

Dishwasher not cleaning dishes. Casade cleaner not disolved.???

Run the unit with no soap, after about 5 min. of run time open door and check to see if water is clear or soapy,If soapy then you are having an oversudsng issue. When your washer gets to rinse cycle, your unit (if oversuding),will be rinsing with soapy water and the the drying cycle bakes the soap on dishes. You might be having a white film on your clear glasses.Cut down on soap especially if you have soft water.powder soap is best.Your dishwasher will fill , wash , the drain. Its what you put into it that will cause dishes not become clean.
