I have Sharp AR-5320 Copier Connected to USB Port on D-Link Print Server (DP-300U). The Print Server Status Show USB Port OFFLINE , How do i make the printer ONLINE for the print server .
DP-300U Print Server is not compatible with Sharp AR-5320. Pls check D-Link website on the list of compatible printer. For USB Print Server that is compatible with Sharp AR-5320 try Intellinet.

Hello,
If your printer has a network port you should be using the network adapter.
Otherwise you want to make sure you connect the printer with a USB cable to the appropriate port on the D-Link.
Once the USB cable is connected you should be able to add the printer from your computer as a shared printer.
You will not normally see any activity lights on your router for the USB connection because it does not send or receive information the same way the LAN cables will.
I do recommend a LAN cable though as it works much better with routers. If your printer does not have one I would look into getting a network printer.
Thanks,
Pat
dont' worry about what the d-link site says. its because they haven't tested it. i got my dp-301u to work fine with my hp1020 on 2 different workstations with the following steps.
1. install printer locally via usb and test. 2. create a second printer as per the dlink manual creating a port. don't worry about the name as we will delete it. 3. once created go into the properties of the 2nd printer and change the port to something local - anything will do to free up the port. 4. go into the properties of the printer that was created in step 1. and change the port to that of the print server. 5. test print. should work fine.
The usb cannot be switched off in either service of customer modes. have you tried using the parrallel port? Maybe it is a computer issue, wrong drivers perhaps, try a different usb port on your machine
I connected my HP5MP to the DP-300U LPT1 port. I configured my port on the DLink Configuration tab, giving it a name "hp5" ...The default login is at http://192.168.0.10/ user:admin pass:(there is no pass by default)
On my Mac, I go to System Preferences > Print & Fax Click the + to add a new printer Select the IP option Choose the Protocol: Line Printer Daemon - LPD Type in the Address: 192.168.0.10 Type in the Queue: hp5 Print Using: Generic PostScript Printer or better yet, 'Select a driver to use...' and find the driver for your HP LaserJet 5MP. Save it. Works like magic. ;-)
If you change the IP address or password on the DLink, just CYA and write it all down on a sticky note then tape the note under the DLink chassis. There's no reset button on the thing, and if you're o a Mac, you won't necessarily have access to the Windows utility to jack with the DP-300U. So, write it down, kidd-o!
I have just setup DP-300U rev.B1 with my Konica Minolta Bizhub 162, the thing is that it doesn't work with USB port connected (paper out), then I tried connecting Bizhub 162 to LPT port, and it works just fine...
I have the same problem. Anyone can assist me?
