The oven door will not seal all the way at the top. Which lets heat out and brown stain on top of door. Is there a way to ajust the hinges.
Ours does the same thing. The problem with ours is the seal at the bottom of the door, keeping it from closing all the way. It's pretty much burnt into an out-of-place position, which causes the top of the door to gap since it's not closing tight.
The same thing with mine. I took apart the door today and found the hinges a little bent. I think it should be ok to bent them the opposite way a little with some mole grips......and then I must remember not to move the stove out for cleaning by the oven door handle again (oops).
Door comes off (unlock hinges and lift up). undo 4 screws on the bottom edge and then two on the inside of the door handle then it comes apart - beware as it's heavy. The hinges themselves come off with two screw each.
Hey friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that your Electrolux range has yellow stains on the top of the door. Typically you should just use warm water and mild soap to remove any stains on your range. If that does not help to correct the issue I would suggest a touch up paint that can by typically purchased through your manufacturer or replacement of the door. I hope this has been beneficial. -Matt
