MP3 error The first split second of any track goes silent for some odd reason. Any advice?

This sounds like a power supply capacitor leaking causing a dc bias problem and amp protection shuts it down.

Fixya:
My IE 8 loads the correct odds on the tote-board and then suddenly the odds go blank.
I have to click down to another track and then click back up to get the odds working again.
The issue happens again at another track that I click on. Forces me to go through the same proccess over again.
This bug related issue is very aggravating so if there is a fix I would appreciate it.

Thats not the reason for the problem
the cause could be the drive crash

This a problem with the Sansa Media Converter program not the player. You can try reconverting the files, both in the mpeg4 program and in SMC. This a trial and error solution. Some mp4's will never sync correctly. Good luck.

You need to get the latest AC3 (Dolby codec).

When I plug my mp3 player into the Usb port, the screen goes to the connected screen for a split second. Then it goes back to the normal screen. The mps player will continue to go back and forth betwwen the two not really connected or playing untill I unplug the cord then its normal.

well when you add songs to your mp3 player it will auto shuffle just go to your settings and go to music click that and it should go back to ABC order
