I have a 99 Dodge Durango and I installed the remote starte with keyless entry and I am haveing a problem withe trans when it starts in the remote mode. The trans makes a noise like a seloniod is running and the digit PRND123 has litlle square boxes around it, once the key is inserted into the ignition switch and turned the run pos the swuare box's around PRND go out and the noise stops, what is going on?

What type of remote starter did you install? I have run into a particular brand that had published a bad diagram drove me nuts.Make sure the wires in diagram are wired to its correct corrisponding places.

If the vehicle is stock, then the answer is no.
But, you can purchase and have installed a remote start system that allows you to start the vehicle from a FOB remote key, like keyless entry. But you would still have to insert the key and turn the ignition on to drive the vehicle.
Keys or remotes? You did not mention what year, so I don't know if your truck uses programmed keys. Remotes on this model require factory equipment or some specialized aftermarket tools to program keyless entry remotes.
use a large screwdriver with a towel wrapped around it to prise the top of the door away from the frame,then use a wire coathanger to grab keys, you may need help to do both.then if the door is not fitting properly, wind the window down and bend the top inwards.
The remote is fine - your problem is the lock actuators in the doors. They're a bit of a pain to replace - so, you may want to have a professional do it.
