I have a 2 year old emachine that will no longer stay on. It was turning off by itself and slowly got worse and worse until it won't stay on at all. Any ideas? Virus?

1.Go to any store that sells compressed air for computers in a can, and buy one. 2.Unplug your computer from power, open the computer case. If the computer is dirty inside as suspected, you may want to set the computer on the back porch, on a wood surface. The amount of dust, dirt, spider webs, and so on, may be great. You may want to look into buying a cheap dust mask, and wearing some eye protection. 3. Break the plastic lock tab off of the top of the can, insert the plastic 'straw'. Start at the top of the inside of your computer, and from one side. Shoot air across in a row. Drop down, make another row. Clean the inside of the power supply from the back. (Power supply is located at the rear/top of the computer case. Metal case with ventilation holes in it) Come around to the back of the computer, and clean the inside of the power supply, as well as the fan. Go back to the inside, and shoot air for the residual dust. 4. When you are satisfied it is clean, close the computer case. Plug back into power. WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on. When a processor overheats it turns off. This is a Fail Safe feature. Keeps the processor from burning up. If the processor fan is dirty, the processor is overheating.

Not likely.
Sounds more like an overheating problem.
I'll suggest to clean all the fans from dust and lint.
You may also need to apply a fresh heat release compound on the processor.
You may need professional help for this, but this will solve your problem.

EMachines eMD620 suddenly shutdown and not boot anymore

When this happened was the laptop overly hot? If the laptop's head got too high it could have shutdown to protect itself. It wouldn't boot until the heat had disparate. Sit you laptop aside for about 30 minutes and see if it will boot then. If it does you might want to check out a cool mat.

My vizio tv keeps shutting off

If it turns on reliably but won't stay on, try putting a portable fan pointed at the rear of the set.
If this prolongs operation, it may be a semiconductor at fault or an early warning of a common problem caused by chemical (electrolytic) capacitors going bad in the switched mode power supply. If this is the case, the problem will continue to get worse until it no longer turns on at all.

Webroot firewall keeps shuting down and giving error

If you are referring to Webroot Desktop Firewall, that software is no longer supported as it was discontinued years ago. The "No Longer Supported" factor means that it is not updated to keep up with new Windows systems and patches, so will slowly stop working and become worse and worse as it gets older. If this is the software you are referring to, unfortunately the best solution is to uninstall it and use a current, updated firewall instead.

If you want to stay with Webroot, their firewall is included in their Internet Security packages. Otherwise there are numerous free and paid firewalls, all with different features, problems, good sides and bad sides. Examples include Comodo, Zone Alarm, and Sunbelt.

The screen seems to be slowly turning white.

More than likely a manufacture defect. If it is not that old; I suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it replaced. Most LCD"s have 1 year warranty, and it's certainly, not weird to see 3 years.

EMachines E19T6W monitor turns itself off and on.

First off, I would check the monitor, if it is getting very warm, I would use a can of compressed air to blow the dust out (make sure it is unplugged first!). Second, I would check for any sort of interference in the vicinity (speakers are a huge cause of problems in Monitors) such as magnets.

LG 47" LCD shuts down several times w/ blinking red light.

Granger1212 we had the same problem. We called LG and although our LG was out of warranty by 4 months, we were asked to supply our proof of purchase and LG sent a serviceman to our home and in 2 days we had our television back working wonderfully. It's the power supply, call LG and BE NICE, I'm sure they will fix it.
