i was using my kg800 wen it froze. it actually often duz since i got a txt msg with a virus. it didnt screen the msg like the ericsson does. When my fon freezes i jst take the battery out and put it back in but this time my fon jst stopped working. I tried to put in the charger and it wont charge either. I had it checked and they said the battery is very strong. The technician said i shud have it reprogrammed. Is there really a software program for the kg800? Pls tell me what to do.

If the phone has been well used it could be that the ON/OFF key is stuck. Without seeing the phone it's difficult to tell.
I would try leaving the phone OFF for a day with the battery and SIM taken out. Then try again, to switch ON.
If it works try the first code as above ie. 2945#*#6.
If it resets the phone to default settings, you will probably lose all the data on the phone, Contacts, Msgs, Pics...
If you manage to switch it ON, try to update the software via PC Sync.
If it does'nt you'll have to take it to a repair shop. Your data WILL be lost.
It will probably be cheaper to buy another phone.
I don't mean the key is stuck physically, but module wise.

I TURNED MY PHONE OFF THIS MORNING AND NOW IT JUST WONT COME BACK ON. IT IS FULLY CHARGED AND I HAVE TRIED CHARGING IT AGAIN JUST INCASE, BUT IT STILL DOESN'T COME ON. I HAVE TAKEN THE BATTERY OUT AND THEN REPLACED IT BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO DO THE TRICK. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE
i tried what u suggested but nothing doing! my God! what must i do with my phone? i was keying the solution but i was thinking, how can that register when the fon is dead? the fon has no power, it jst wont go on no matter what i do! Please help me, please..... but i still did what u suggested many times, but still nothing.......im really desperate, pls help...
