HT-Q40 I do not want to have subtitles. They keep showing on the screen.

It's part of an HTiB (Home Theater in a Box). Get the speakers that it's designed to mate with. HTIB's are not like components. Due to proprietary connectors and who knows what else under the hood, they are not intended to be mixed and matched with other units.

This unit has standard speaker connections so you might be able to find some speakers to hook up to it, but its original speakers were rated at 3-ohms impedance and the spec for the amp is also at 3-ohms. You probably won't blow anything up trying them, but don't expect earth-shattering volume from typical 8-ohm speakers. As the saying goes, individual results will vary.

How exactly did you expect the TV to be the speakers for this thing? It doesn't have an outbound audio connection. TV's are traditionally the part that makes pretty moving pictures while other electronics and speakers take care of the audio end.

change the speaker output and reverse it if not have a problem eltavos start but that interest may have a spent filter

make sure the player plays the disk's you are using. There are diff.. types of recordable media, DVD-R and DVD+R, most player's other then High End player's will not play DVD+R

contact the samsung website or find a nice universal remote that lists samsung as one of the devices it will control.

According to the manual it says to just hold down " [ ] " (STOP) On the unit itself for no less than 5 sec. Mine is stuck on "loading" and nothing is coming up on the screen and it happened when I tried to hit " logo " while a movie was paused and now it won't reset at all but I hope this will work for you.

cheak audio setting try hitting the audio buton flip throw the modes it has ok in manel shows how to do factory reset also or in menu in the unit

over heating cheak back fan is it in very well vented area if not get sterio fans off ebay on it 4 for 20 u plug in wall ok llike pc fans
