Try to insert another sd card and then try to power on the computer again. If that does not work try to reset it by removing the battery for 5 minutes and then replace it and try to power -up again with the sd card inserted.
Did you have another card in, the unit can only handle one card at a time.
What do you mean by close, did it blue screen, did windows restart, did it white screen, was there an error code, close does not explain what happened.
The printer can handle 6 different types of cards, one thing, its says SD Cards, now there is a difference between SD and SDHC, some devices can not read SDHC, high captivity is a different format then a SD card. now maybe the printer can't read the card, but I have no clue why windows would shut own or do anything, because windows can handle any card.
Restart both, and make sure there are no cards in it then try the SDHC card again and post exactly what happens, and errors, if it says anything, this will help you getting your problem solved.
2 weeks ago i bought a r4 adaptor with sd card 2 gb and 30 games on it.it was worked propely since today when ds displayed there is no ds card inserted.please halp me my kids kill me
Had this same issue. Your probably trying to play either Crank2 or StarWars. Talked to Panasonic Tech Support and they said not enough memory to play disc and gave me these instructions:
"This movie title requires that an SD card of 128MB or larger to be inserted into the BluRay player prior to inserting the BD disc each time you watch this movie.
The SD card must be formatted in the BlRay player before use. (Do not format the SD card on your PC)
Formatting an SD card in the player:
-Insert an SD card (1GB or higher) into the SD slot of your BluRay
-Press [FUNCTIONS], select "other Functions" and press [OK]
-Select "Card Management" and press [OK], then follow the on-screen commands
Once formatting is complete, leave the SD card in the SD card slot. Insert the movie disc into the BluRay player and it should play normally."
Personal note, the bar graph that has always stopped at the red will hesitate for quite a while and then the rest of the bar will fill up and BD will begin to play.
Ignore the above comment... SD cards and USB play fine on there (i have one). Mine does the same, but leave it for 5-10 seconds after it says close and it loads it up!
