I get to picking my gamer tag and right after that it goes to send my information to wherever and it stops and says that it cant perform that action at that time and to try again later and i have tried a again and again and it doesnt work. It also has 80150010 at the bottom.

This may be a problem related to your account being stolen. Your best bets are contacting Xbox Support again. They should have the solution. You can probably try reseting you password again, then try again, but other than that, my bets are on the first solution. Good luck, and I hope you resolve your issue.

the solution to these issue is to recover your gamertag or your gamer profile,please follow these steps:

1.make sure no profile is currently sign in (profile means gamertag or gamer profile)
2.press the guide button,this is the silver button which can be locate at the middle of the controller
3.select the option recover gamer tag

5.please enter your email and password
once it starts downloading,kindly wait until it is done,it will automatically sign you in

There are two possibilities. Both can be tested from Windows explorer. I'll assume you have XP. Perhaps your drive is not set to auto-play? Double click My Computer. Put a CD in the drive. Does the CD drive now show there is a disc in the drive? You should be able to open the drive folder and see the contents. Try double clicking a song or program to see if it will run.
If everything works this way, then go back to My Computer and right click on the CD drive. Pick properties. Click the AutoPlay tab. Select each item from the pulldown list and for the Action to perform, select "Take no action" to disable autorun, or pick the apporpriate action to take if enabling autorun.

Thats a microsoft problem sorry man. What your going to have to do is contact microsoft and tell them what happened and your going to have proof that gamertag is yours.

First you need an internet connection, wireless or network cable.
For wireless:
You need the XBox 360 wireless adaptor.

you will have to call 1(800)4MYXBOX and have then do it, you will have to have your gamertag and the cc you used, (if not credit card then address) they should be able to take care of you. the are open 10am-5pm PST, Monday through Friday.
