Hi Erik first off check the cof centre of gravity buy holding or hanging your helicopter from the balance bars if it hangs to much on tail end and not level this could be first problem , this means u need to put small weight in nose to balance lvl .
Hi,
I think the problem is the green pinion drive gear, either it has already crack on the sides that's why it moves to another position.
You could adjust the green gear by pushing it where the big gear( wheel ) turns. There is a screw at the side of the propeller where you could tighten it to the point it can have a contact with the green gear.
You could buy that green gear in the internet. You don't have to disassemble the whole thing.
Hope that helps you out.
Thanks for using FixYa!
Are you missing any parts? make sure its charged, i know if you are missing a stabilizer it wont go up the stabilizer is what holds the two propellers together and when the helicopter takes a hard impact it usually comes off so check for that hoped this helped
The instructions say the helicopter is ready to fly when the led shows red. I found some info online that says to charge the helo for 35 minutes. I've been letting it go 45 mnutes, and have been getting abou6 6 minute flight times. Unfortunately, my helo will no longer fly forward or backward. Does anyone know how to adjust the control for the tail rotor?
Unfortunately you can't. You will need to change the receiver or the transmitter so they are both the same frequency range eg 40mhz or 27mhz. Then you will need to check the crystal is the same frequency for the Transmitter and receiver eg 40.25mhz. NB. you can't put a 27mhz crystal into a 40mhz set or vise versa it won't work.
I don't believe you will download one from anywhere, however they ca be brought for roughly about $40. Follow this link to a good place for shop manuals.
