Im not able to instalthe primavera p6 on my new hp lap windows 7

Check oracle support website and or call them (or your IT department) below but look at fix here:

This error is also find on installing Primavera P6 on windows 7. When this error comes then don't uninstall & re-install Primavera P6, Its quite easy to solve this issue by just copying the Language folder from the setup folder to the installed location as shown in the error message.

The standalone DB Configuration seems simple but can be tricky When you configure the DB you have to use a Coded Username for the AdminSuperuser permissions "admprm$pm"! this user name makes your actual Log in username "Admin" you cannot use the admprm$pm at the Log in screen. Same with the Public User Permissions "pubprm$pm" gives read permissions but log in user name is "Public" Try the "Admin/Public" usernames if this does not work you may have to Uninstall and Reinstall. If you uninstall remember there are 2 peices of software to remove... P6 and the Oracle Database 10G

You must connect to a database to utilize Primavera. You can not bypass this portion. So, Either remove the Database and reconfigure, or in the "Configure" Screen you can Name a new DB and use it. I would suggest that if you do not require 2 DB's not to have two. "The Oracle Database 10g" application that is installed with P6 (In your 'All Programs') will give you some DB manipulation options. I installed P6 Ver 7 standalone on my laptop with windows vista and it was done easily and succeed ( working) whwn I installed on my other computer with windows 7 64 bit, I succeed installing it but when I turn on it is asking which database. On my laptop with windows vista , I will just type admin as password on my automatically shown ORAPMDB database, and it works.
What do you think the issue here?

It works with Win 7 Ultimate, but it should work with all versions -you need to install SQL Server SP3 BEFORE running P6 for the first timethough...

Have you considered creating a regular export from P6 and using Access or some other reporting tool to generate your reports? I could set you something if I new the specifics of what you are trying to get.
