You don't do load tests on deep-cycle batteries, unlike car batteries. Car batt's are measured in cold cranking amps, deep cycle are in amp-hours. The best way to test is to drive the chair (which loads it), and see how long it runs. It should take you a good five miles and still be in the green. If not, time for new batts.

JAZZI WHEEL CHAIR WONT START UP

When did it quit turning on? How old are the batteries? Does the charger have lights that turn on? Did it drive slow or poor performance before it quit starting up?

Has clicking noise on right pull wheel

Clicking noises from the drive wheel area usually means the gearbox on that side has a minor to a more severe issue. Call the place where you got the chair. I'm glad it's running and it could continue to run even with the clicking noise. It could be something as a loose hub nut on the wheel or something rubbing when you are making a turn.

Batteries wont hold charge

Check battery harness, circuit breaker, all connections. Load test each battery. If any one of the batteries fails the load test, replace both of them. Also ensure that charger is actually charging

My jazzy 600 chair was working fine. Now I cannot go up or down a simple ramp. The chair works just fine until the ramp hits wheels then the chair shuts off and leaves me stuck. Please any help is...

have the batteries checked, there are two gel cell 12 volt batteries, that if one or both will not hold a charge, they will fail on incline as the load on the chair is greater going up hill. Test this out by trying a hill near your house. I had to change one of the batteries in another model Pride that my wife uses for the same problem. The one battery would not hold a charge.

My mother has a pride jet3 electric wheel chair that doesn't move now. the power button bar shows full charge and the light below that just blinks. Did she lock it up some how?

You can visit this website to find answers on what the flashing trouble indicator lights mean: http://www.pgdt.com/scenter/diagnostics/diagvsi.html
Locate the page that has the controller used on your power chair/scooter and count how many lights are flashing to diagnose the trouble. If your insurance purchased the power chair for you, they may also cover the repairs; contact them for information.
Good luck!

Are batteries connected in series?

yep they are so that you are providing 24 v dc to power the motors. Your chair should have 2 battery boxes that contain one 22nf battery each and have the connectors that allow them to supply 24 volts to your chair. Hope this helps

Power chair worked when we bought it from previous owner but has set for awhile, we pluged it in to charge the chair as it would not work, charged for lenght of time book said but still will not run

If the chair sets for several weeks the batteries will wear down to the point that they cannot be recharged. Have the batteries load tested and I bet that this will fix the problem.

My jazzy 1115 joystick controller flashing and the chair doesnot move .

1. make sure it's not still pluged in recharging.
2. make sure both free wheel levers are engaged.

if the jazzy is still flashing and not moving refer to the flash code in your owners manual. count the flashes between pauses. get back to me if you don't have the manual. Mike

Battery won't charge

First make sure that all the connections are tight. Then have the batteries load tested.
