Hello....
No Sound, No Volume Control, Mixer not Found, No Sound device installed…etc etc, This is a generic issue with all Windows OS updates....many of the users are facing this issue....this began after an auto update from MS changed many IRQs of Win OS, mainly the Sound and Audio Control system of Windows.
1 - R U facing NO Audio / No Sound issue...?
2 - Is ur Volume Control not responding ?
3 - Is ur Sound and Audio Device in Control Panel Grayed out ?
4 - Do u get a msg "No Active Mixer Devices Installed....when u try to open Volume Ctrl etc etc ?

If ur ans to any one of them is Yes...then u are being spammed by Microsoft....as ur Sound Control IRQ is being frozen by a recent update from Microsoft....

NOTE..THIS…IS…VERY..IMPORTANT...
No file update or any sound driver update can fix it, neither Microsoft is issuing any patch to fix it…or giving any help on this.
Full solution is available in my website (Support page)...it's quite simple process to fix it, and I am not charging any money, just trying to do some service and help everyone affected by this stupidity from Microsoft.

SOURCE: No Audio output device is installed

Updating driver will usually work, try doing it manually if it does work auto.
But if not its usually more serious, it may be damage etc.

Panasonic Palmcorder model VJAW0032. No audio during playback. Has anyone had similar problems?

Having camera issues is always a pain, Here are a few trouble shooting ideas to see if it can solve the issue.

try cleaning the playback head: If the audio issue persists with all recordings, it's possible that the playback head may be dirty. Over time, dust and debris can accumulate on the head, affecting the audio quality. Try using a head cleaning tape to clean the playback head following the manufacturer's instructions.

Check the audio output connections: Ensure that the audio output connections (e.g., headphone jack, AV output) are secure and properly connected. If you are using external speakers or headphones, try them with other devices to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Test with different playback devices: Try playing back the recorded video on a different device like a computer or another video player. This will help you determine if the audio issue is specific to the Palmcorder or if the video file itself is corrupted.

Update firmware or software: Check the Panasonic website for any firmware updates or software patches that might address audio playback issues. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer for updating your Palmcorder.

Lastly Reset to factory settings: If none of the above steps resolve the problem, consider performing a factory reset on the Palmcorder. This will reset all settings to their default values, and it might help if the issue is caused by a software misconfiguration.

How can I recover the sound on my facebook page?

If this is a laptop and you have something connected to your headphone jack it will disable your internal speakers. You can also take a look at the Playback Devices settings. Right-click the speaker icon in the lower right of the task bar and select playback options. Click on the output device you wish to choose and click Default to make it permanent.

Hooking up projector to laptop with only HDMI port

The PG-F320W has a DVI-I port between the VGA/Component input and the VGA output. You will need an HDMI to DVI cable or a HDMI to DVI adapter and either an HDMI or a DVI cable. If you use the audio input of the projector, you will also need the audio cable between the computer and the projector. (Make sure to disable the HDMI as the audio playback device. In Windows, go to the Hardware and Sound Control Panel. Then go down to Sound and Manage Audio Devices. Click on the Playback tab and check your output device. Click on Start for Windows 7 and earlier, Windows Key + X for Windows 8. Then select Control Panel.)

Monoprice.com has good prices for most cables. The HDMI to DVI cables are here: http://www.monoprice.com/Category?c_id=102&cp_id=10231 .

The manual for the PG-F320W is available here: http://www.sharp-world.com/products/data_projector/pgf320w/pdf/PGF320W_ex1_en.pdf . See page 21 for the DVI cable connection information. See page 61 for video resolutions that the projector can handle.

I hope this helps.

I wanna connect my laptop(lenovo G450) to samsung series 4 lcd through hdmi cable

Hello,

A HDMI cable can output both audio and video, whilst some computer with Windows XP cannot automatically switch to HD Audio output as Windows 7 can. Thus manual setup can solve the problem.

After connecting the HDMI cable, Go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Sounds and Audio Devices", double-click "Sounds and Audio Devices. Select "Audio" tab on "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" window.

On "Sound playback", change "Default device" from "Conexant HD Audio output" to "NVDIA High Definition Audio".

Your television should have several HDMI ports, select the appropriate HDMI port number and check if TV is not muted.

Hope this helps.

Beko HDMI no sound

The HDMI audio should be controlled by the video driver. You may need to change the audio output to get the TV speakers to get the audio from the HDMI signal. Open the Control Panel (Start > Control Panel with Windows 7 and Vista) and go to the Hardware section. Find the Sound section and click on the Manage Audio Devices link. In the Playback tab, right click on HDMI Output and try to make it the Default audio device. If you see a test option, check if you hear the audio from the TV speakers.

For laptops, the usual default audio is the built-in speakers.

I hope this helps.

No sound when using HDMI cable

There a few options you can check: first of all, try to hook an audio cable to the TV. Some laptops do not support hdmi as audio output.
also, I would try to check if your hdmi audio device is set in your audio controls. Appaarently, in most cases the laptop speakers are playing by default, which means you will have to set the hdmi audio yourself. Right click on the volume control icon in your desktop (minimized icons, to your right), then go to playback devices (depends on your windows of course), then check if the hdmi is active or not.

HI, I have an emu 1616m soundcard. My laptop recognizes the EMU and the pulgins, but no sound comes out of the monitors.Only from the laptop speakers.

You have to select the EMU as the default playback device in Windows and or select it as the playback device in the software you are using for recording or playback.
Go to Control Panel and Sound and Audio Devices icon, and select the Audio tab. There is a drop down box that lists all playback devices. You have to select the EMU in there.
That should get you working.
