hello, take the key with two fingers, put it on its position on the keyboard, now gently press it with one finger until you here a "click", wich means it went back to its original position

VAIO recovery center, I install ubuntu using doual boot using GRUB boot menu. when select vista it will pop up VAIO menu. so can you tell me how to restor my setting back?

Restart the Computer and press the F10 key to access the Recovery Center.
Select Restore C Drive to restore the Computer back to the factory settings.

Broken key.

hi notesticky i once had a problem simlar to this one i was replacing a keyboard to laptop when a key pop-out what i did was to snap back key in place, on the keyboard layout has rigids that snap each key in place but if it's broken you might have to replace keyboard section. you can find a replace keyboard at ebay.com and don't forget put model # maker of laptop. good luck.

Hello, my name is Chris. Easy solution. Buy a new key board. Thats all you can do in this situation. There not worth trying to fix. A key board will cost about 10.00.

Key popped off keyboard

On the Keyboard, There should be a small little clamp housing. On the back of the key you should see a piece of metal that is sort of Staple shaped (A non bent staple) Just try and put the ends of the metal into the housing, Then apply a little amount of force onto the key to pop it back in.
Before applying pressure, Make sure that both ends are properly in place.
