My pc says Erro6:unsupported pixel shader version detected 2.0

When i launch directx 9 in devil may cry 4 and resident evil 5 my computer shows an error box says Erro6:unsupported pixel shader version detected 2.0.please help me! cuz i really want to play these two games thanks!

    sounds like your graphics card is not good enough to play the games..

    whats your system specs?

i dont think i have your answer buuut i would deffinatley suggest updating you graphics card and attempt it again but is it doesnt work then your card might not support 2.0 (uncompatable)

The problem here is that the current graphics card you have does not support the specific shader version that is used to improve the quality of graphics by shading the pixels. You might wanna upgrade to a better graphics card.

The game needs Pixel Shader 3 support, which is found on GeForce 6 series and up, and Radeon X1k series and up,

Sorry but a video card upgrade is a must to play this game.
If you're trying to run it on a laptop then you are probably out of luck as they're not upgradable.
