My spiderman 3 game doesn't work on my xbox 360

there are different types of games for the first xbox , the xbox 360 and the new xbox 0ne i think you will just have to bye another game ...... Sorry

If it no longer works because you had it for 3 years, then you know the solution: Never keep an Xbox for longer than 2.9999 years.
If there's a hard drive inside, this could be seized due to lack of use. Grab the Xbox on opposite corners, and as violently as you can, rotate the case back and forth in the plane that the hard drive is mounted in. This action may loosen the drive's platters. I'm just guessing. Do lights come on when plugged in or does it look dead?

If its just this game that is doing it, then the disc may be dirty or scratched. Try cleaning it with a dry duster (wiping the disc from centre to edge). It that doesn't work, then have a good look at the disc for any scratches. If you do find any, then the disc is probably broken.

Reinstall the Game or check out the pixel shader

Since CDs and CD-R's work fine, its probably that the disc tray of your xbox 360 is not working. you might wanna try contacting xbox customer support to check the warranty status of your console. might as well send it in for repairs

I have an older 360 that was doing the same thing. It was purchased in 2007. We just bought one for our daughter this past Christmas and hers hasn't done it yet. The newer Xbox 360 is a lot louder than my old one. I just sent my old one in to be serviced due to freeze up, false clean disc comments, and a wobbleing/rattleing noise when disc was starting and stopping. If yours is still covered under warranty I would send it back. I purchased the extended warranty, thankfully, for 2 years after the manuf. warranty. I don't know if you can purchase it after you purchase the Xbox 360 or not. You may want to check into it. IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I got it on both systems, mine and my daughters. The big thing is acting on the problem ASAP after you start noticing it before the warranty runs out!

Well it's still under warrenty if it's from 2-9-07 and you did not break the microsoft seal! I would send it back. If you did break the seal then you can do the rubberband trick (just google it). These are signs that your xbox is on its last leg and you will soon see "3rod" 3 RINGS OF DEATH flashing on your box!
