Whitish Residue A whitish residue has developed on all dishware, especially glasses. The stainless steel interior of the Kitchenaid automatic dishwasher has also been affected. use a dishwashing cleaning agent in the machine. or some thing the has a grease cutting agent.run this on an empty cycle.
there are times residue grease and oils can accumulate down in the sump area where the water sits and can cause film on the dishes.
this could also be some lime or scale build up for that you can use some C.L.R or any kind of lime and scale remover to clean your machine.
