I just experience breaking my 1st main rotor and replaced it.
What you need are a pair of needle nose pliers and a hair dryer.
Put the hair dryer on "HOT" and blow on the rotor plastic shaft for
about 1 minute. Then take the needle nose pliers, lightly clamp
them on the plastic shaft and lift. It should slide off the metal shaft.
Next I took the hair dryer again and heated the replacement rotor
shaft for about 1 minute and pushed in on the metal shaft with my fingers.
Hope this helps.
