Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Best OS for gaming purposes is Windows Xp because it is compatible with approx all games new and old. And memory allocation of Xp is good for games. But since Windows Xp is not outdated Windows 7 is a very good alternative. Windows 7 does not load your PC at all, that means your game has more resources to use. Windows Vista is not at all good for games.
If this was helpful, kindly do rate me.
Regards,
Waqar.

- get Windows 7/8/10 64-bit (a decent amount of RAM - 8 GB should be fine, 16GB would be better, as well as at least an i5 processor)
- GTX760 or similar depending on budget

Windows 7 will not read 95/98 version of scattergories wahat can I do

Wow, big OS problem here.

Windows 7 and Vista both have a serious problem playing games for the previous OS's (XP, ME, 2000, 98/95, 3.1). There are sometimes fixes that you can find on the web (download such and such driver or whatever.) but these only work about 15% of the time. Your best bet to get it to work is to find the .exe file that runs the game itself (right click on the shortcut and click "open file location"). When you find the .exe, right click on that and go to properties, then click the "compatability" tab. At this tab you can set the compatability settings to try and get the game to work. THIS DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK. If it doesn't, then most likely the game is simply too old to work on an OS as recent as windows 7. At that point your best bet is to hunt for a more recent version of the game you want to play (one that is compatable with win7)

I want to buy a new rig , main purpose is to use for 3D Animation and Rendering(After Effects,Photoshop, Premiere,Maya, Nuke, Fusion Etc.)I have set a config in my mind Intel Based PC, But I need...

The processor is too weak - get at least an i5, best would be a quad core i7; the hard drive will be filled faster than you thing - bigger is always better; get some faster memories - at least 1666 MHz, 4 GB is bare minimum, get a 64bit OS and 8 GB for real performance; the power source is at the limit - for best result get one of 600W; as for the video card the best for photoshop is Nvidia Quadro CX, even ATI Fire will be better than any gaming card.

Help me to find a laptop with graphics card at a range of 30000

Choosing the laptop, the first import thing is the purpose for which you want to buy.

1. If its just for normal home usage with a gaming bit of gaming, then you can choose HP Pavilion series, as they come with good graphic cards. Even Dell Studio/XPS can be considered.

2. If the Purpose is limited to just surfing the net, with some MS Office application, then you can choose cheaper options like Dell Inspiron Series or HP-Compaq Pressrio series. The will come in a range from 33k to 38 k.

3. If you are a linux geek, then for sure go for HP Compaq Pressario the cheapest one (they don't come with OS) and you can choose your own OS (from Ununtu to debian or any other Linux OS). Even if you want to put your version of Windows OS, then you can do so in these laptops (I hate to use Vista as its pathetically slow, I removed Vista Premium from my laptop and now I am using XP as its really very fast. When Windows remove support for XP completely, by then Vista would statbilize, as of now, it keeps crashing every now and then).

Hope this helps.

Gaming processor.

No lie, the best and cheapest you will find for gaming, and for overclocking is the AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.6Ghz "Black Edition" It is a dual core, AM2 socket, and has unlocked multipliers you can access through your bios, which is perfect for a newbie to mess around with overclocking. Go to www.tomshardware.com and search for it, they did a big article all about overclocking it which will explain why its so great. Best thing is its 90 bucks on www.newegg.com , just plan to buy a fan and some thermal grease, wont run you much more. Good luck and happy overclocking.
