Recently our 32 inch Sony Trinitron Wega started intermittently flashing or sparking, accompanied by large zapping noises and a brief lightning-like after-image on the screen. Several days later the picture cut out entirely, but the sound was still on. Now nothing happens at all - no image, no sound - it won't turn on and the standby light flashes 5 times. Any ideas?
No doubt. replace LOT and horizontal output transformer with new one
