When you power up the phone if it asks for a security code and you haven't set it up previously to use a security code, power it down and up 2 or 3 more times, then enter 12345 which is the default security code for this phone. I don't know why you need to cycle the power several times. However, it you don't do the power cycling, the default security code often doesn't work. I hope this helps you out.

If you cant get the phone to come on then get the firmware re-installed. This is the problem with codes. There is no magic key that can open all locks.
