Setting the clock
To set the clock press and hold F for five seconds, the transceiver will chirp twice and the hour selection will
start flashing. Immediately press Aux to advance the hour selection or star to reverse the hour selection.
Once the correct hour is displayed press F again and the minute selection will start flashing. Then press Aux to advance the minute selection or Star to reverse the minute selection. Once the correct time is displayed simply stop pressing all buttons for 15 seconds and the transceiver will automatically exit the clock mode.

Where is "set" button on the remote so I can set DVD code?

You need to be using the TV's remote, not the Time Warner remote.  You are reading the TV's manual to set it's remote, not the Time Warner remote.  If you want the Time Warner remote to operate the TV, you will need to find the instructions that the Time Warner box/receiver provides and enter the TV's code.

Most of these universal remotes don't always have the same features as the original remote. I usually just keep the old remote for just that purpose---to set the T-Set. Otherwise, sorry.

The power went out and my RCA tv needs to have the time set to continue watching. But the remote does not work, and I can't access the menu from the tv

Hello
If the remote control doesn't work, just buy one RCA RCR model universal remote control. Without remote control, you can't set the time to this set.

I have the Logitech Harmony 880 and need the current calendar year and time to reflect appropriately. Currently, the calendar year is only displaying 2009.

Make sure that you have stepped through the entire process of setting the current date and time using the Systems Option menu on the remote. Note that it appears that some firmware updates leave you with an option to select AM or PM hours from the System Options-->Set Time. However, the most recent firmware update seems to have removed this ability, so only a 12hr clock is shown, and there is no option to set AM or PM. The clock will always default to AM. So, one workaround is to simply set the time before noon! Also, the remote will pick up the correct date and time when connected to the computer (assuming your system clock is correct) and you update the remote. Hope this helps!

How do you reset the clock

Turn on the lights in your room and it will be obvious. On the Bose Wave Music System clock radio remote there is a + and - button labeled "time." This is how you set the time. Hold either the + button to move the time forward or the - button to set the time backwards. You don't need to push any buttons before you press the + or -. After you have set the time you can press the "alarm time" button to lock in your changed time.

The standard remote does not have a back-light feature. However, if you bought the optional larger remote and try to set the clock in the dark with the back-lit buttons, you won't be able to see the word "time" above the + and - buttons. This is because the word "time" is written on the metal part of the remote, which does not illuminate with the back-lighting feature.

I cannot set the time, my 880 remote want allow me to set the time!

I saw these posts recently and decided I would try and figure out the time on my Harmony 880.

First, using your Logitech Harmony remote software, version 7.5.0, log on using your login ID and password.

Next, select the remote settings tab, and go to display settings. Select time/display format and check the 24 hour format. (Note: the assumption is that you have already set the 12 hour time before hand, even though is says A.M.) I made this change to my own remote when it was actually was 7:30 P.M.
My remote actually reported 7:30 A.M. at this point. Save your changes online and plug in your remote to your USB port and let the Harmony update your change. Now your remote should be in 24 hour format.

Finally, log back on using the same procedure above only this time, click the check box for 12 hour format, save your changes and update your Harmony 880 one last time. Your finished, your remote should now be displaying the correct time in 12 hour format.
