If you are talking about the mounting screws that go into the back of the television to mount a VESA sized wall bracket, then it's most likely 5mm screws. The length of the screws could differ, depending on the bracket you are attaching, but usually 12mm or 16mm can be used. just make sure that the screws are long enough to thread into the TV completely, but not too long, or they may damage internal components.
If you are talking about the Lag screws needed to mount the bracket to the wall, then use 3/8" width lag screws 2 1/2" to 3 1/2" long, depending on how deep you have to go before hitting the wood stud.
They are Metric screws, either M5 or M6, you can get them from hardware store for about 25 cents each, so get different length depend on the mounting brackets.

Most wall-mountable TVs will have threaded holes in the back for wall-mounting. Most of which you can bolt a bracket to then unscrew a few of the set-screws for the stand and slide the TV off of the stand.
Most TVs have 4 set screws for the stand located near the bottom middle of the TV where the stand inserts into the TV. The screws may be recessed fairly far into the back of the set and may require a long thin screwdriver.
