Not cooking completely

Our Frigidaire oven started not cooking thourougly a couple months ago. Sometimes the back will cook and not the front and vice-versa. my wife just cooked a homemade pizza tonight and she cooked it for twice the time it usually takes and it was still doughy in sections with no rhyme or reason. the other night we had tried to cook the frozen fries and it cooked for three times as long and still was not cooked thoroughly.

Duane is right. I would also get a oven thermometer that you put in different locations in the oven while cooking. If this is a conventional oven, the air does not circulate as a Convention oven would. It is a good habit to rotate or turn what you are cooking in a conventional oven. *Same case with certain microwaves. Microwaves that have a rotating platform usually cooks food more evenly...Same concept but we have to turn it lol. Try rotating half way through the cooking time and keep rack in center slot. Also test your oven temp in different locations inside (ie: front and very back). You may be surprised at the temp difference. Remember that for every 2 seconds you keep the oven door open you loose 2 degrees. Use oven light and keep door closed as well. Hope something in this helps. :)

Cooking doesnt start

Microwave?

Generic advice follows.

Do you open the door while the machine is cooking? Do it a lot? For a long time (months)? Check your door safety interlock switches. The microswitches can not stand that type of abuse. I have personal knowledge on this. I try not to open the door until it stops, but it is hard usually to do that!!!

If you need more help, let me know.

Stove flashed F11 and then locked the oven door

HI, this is control failure. the logic chip set is damaged. this is causing these erratic commands and the unauthorized locking of the oven door. you will need ot replace the control in this case.(EOC/clock)

Won't cook

check for any holes in the microwave, then also checkplugs/electrical. if ALL this doesn't work.. then you probably need a new microwave, or return the microwave to the shop, saying that it is a manufacturer fault.
Trust me, many microwaves have done this.
