-922 Fuser Error messages indicate that the fuser unit failed to reach the standby temperature.
If this is the first time you have seen the error, turn the printer off and on.
-Leave the printer off for at least 10 seconds before turning it back on. This gives the printer's engine board a chance to reset.
If this is an intermittent error, you may want to check how the printer is plugged in, even if it has worked on this surge device for months. Make sure the printer is plugged straight to the wall and not through a surge device or power strip. Power strips and uninterrupted power supplies can cause a low amperage problem in your printer which can trigger a false fuser error.
If this does not help or if this error appears every time the printer is powered on, you will probably need service on the machine.

When we had this error code, we tried all the doors. No luck. I checked the fuser and there was a piece of paper jammed inside. We now know that we need a new fuser before the error message will go away, but it was the paper jam inside the fuser that caused the fault code. The fuser simply got too hot with the paper in there and burned up, apparently.

Fuser Error 50.1 Fuser

A 50 Service error is a fuser error. Turn the printer off for at least 10 minutes, then turn it back on. If the error is still there, you can try reseating the fuser, but be sure to let the fuser cool completely before touching it.
If you still have the 50 Service error after reseating the fuser, you might need a new fuser.
You can access the fuser by opening the rear door. It's located directly above the paper tray. There are two screws that hold it in place. Remove those two screws, and the fuser slides outs.
