Mitsubishi WS-65907 65 in. Rear Projection Television; No Sound from internal speakers. I don't believe external speaker will work either but I have no way to test. TV was move from one home to another. Was working before the move. At the new location connected it to cable and it powered on just fine and everything works execpt there is no sound. Went through and checked all the menu setting but still no sound.

First you need the original remote to do this, with the set on use the remote to enter the following (menu) 8,2,7,0 this will bring up the options menu the first thing in this list is "Inital" and should already be highlighted then simply press enter on the remote, this should reset the tv

Mitsubishi HD 1080 series model ws-65807 no volume.

You need a remote. There are places that sell them, but you can usually get by with your cable box remote or some other modestly programmable remote. It would help if you had an owner's manual. You can probably find one on line. It is a bit of a dance to make the menus work correctly.
My set is gone, but you have fairly ordinary on-screen menus. One of them is for sound on or sound off to the internals. That so that there isn't the conflict between speakers from a receiver based audio setup. You should have external speaker outlets on the set itself. If you do, plut in a speaker you're not worried about. you should get sound out from there.or use an audio out connection to a receiver, etc.

Adding external speakers

I think you will need to run the tv audio outputs out to an amp (inputs) and have the speakers connected to the amp! the TV does not have enough power to make the speakers work! but will send the signel out to the amp and in turn power the speakers!

Turn the speakers to ON

No I am not using a hdmi input. This problem exists within the unit itself. I am unable to manually turn on the Televisions internal speakers. they are currently set to off and are not highlighted within the menu to be able to turn them back on. I hope this helps. thank you!
