Message inbox was full, now cannot access anything

Message inbox was full, I received a message saying I had received a message but the inbox was full and telling me to delete some messages. I tried to access my inbox to do this & now cannot access anything to do with messages (saved/draft/sent etc). I've switched the phone off and the on again, I've taken the battery out, checked the sim card and nothing works, everytime I try to access any message box or settings it says "message storage memory full"....

You should first delete files in your phone gallery manually before you go to your inbox. Delete pictures, videos or something that you don't need in your phone memory. Restart your phone to refresh the system.
Hope this could help you alot Thanks..

My friend try to sms me but canot get trough as they receive msg saying that my inbox is full. But there's no msg on my x3 saying that my inbox is full. what shold i do?

If you aren't getting any texts and your friend is getting a message that your inbox is full, it likely is. Try deleting some old texts and have someone send you a text as a test. If it comes through, your inbox was full and you just needed to clean it out some.

My phone nokia N70 will register "memory is full, delete some items" whenever I access the message folder even if the folder is now empty.

The problem is that your inbox might have become full due to messages and received files via bluetooth..
try deleting some received files or clear all messages inside your inbox to free up memory on your phone..

Can't open inbox/outbox/drafts Razr v3x

Two possible problems here, the new messages could be server messages, your inbox is completely full and there (unfortunately) really is no choice to but to delete either a large number of the messages in your inbox or delete all. If that doesn't work it needs to be taken into a retailer to be either repaired or trashed. Had a similar problem with the same phone and i had to delete all my inbox messages and it still showed that i had messages and they were server messages.

MY TEXT MESSAGING WONT LET ME TEXT ANYONE. IT SAYS TEXT MESSAGE FULL BUT I HAVE NO MESSAGES IN MY INBOX OR OUTBOX

Does it show signal bars on the screen and are you able to make/receive calls? If not then that is why. AT&T does not guarantee in building service. If you do have signal and it is working other than text, then check your message center number in the device:

From the standby screen, press Menu.
Press Messaging.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Scroll to and select Text Message.
Enter appropriate Message Center Number, then press Done. The message center number that should be there is +13123149810 (and the + sign does need to be in front of it)

Can't access anything on Nokia 6300. It locked up and gives message of: (Message storage memory not ready) No Nokia place around to take it to. Please help!

The phone's memory is full, which causes the error message and lock ups. This error prevents you from freeing up memory by deleting messages.

Try the following (taken from the Nokia support forum): http://discussions.nokia.co.uk/discussions/board/message?board.id=hardware&thread.id=7775

1. Delete unused names/numbers from the address book to free up memory. (Perhaps write down the ones you want to keep for later re-entry)
2. Once a critical threshold is reached the msg inbox indicator will blink on
3. Enter inbox and DELETE as many messages as you can before phone freezes up again
4. If phone freezes or you get the error message again, restart and keep deleting from the phone book until it allows you hassle-free msg inbox access as per normal (but don't forget to continue deleting thos messages).

Unopened sms in my inbox

It seems your message box is full. delete all the messages from sent box first to clear some memory. Then try to see if you can get the unread messages.
