This may be specific for my system, but hopefully it helps:

Connect to your voicemail (for us, we can either hit the voicemail button or dial 1650)

Once in, press #6, it will ask for a mailbox number, dial *9998, it will ask for a password (the default is 1234#)

Press 5 to modify messages.

Press 3 to record custom service menus.

It will ask you to pick which menu (1-100). Our day menu is 1, and night is 2. I'm guessing yours will be the same.

From this point, it becomes the same as recording a standard voicemail greeting. It will play the current greeting and you can press 1 to re-record it. Do so, and then press #. Press 2 to accept and you're done!

We cant get the recorded message for night mode to change. How is it done?

Here is a link to the user manual for your phone. The directions are very vague about turning off the night mode. They state: To disable Night Answer: • Press the key you programmed to Night Answer.

If you look on page 30 of the manual it tells you how to get into the settings mode. You should be able to go into settings then scroll through the settings to find out which key is programmed for Night Answer. http://edocs.mitel.com/UG/EN/33_5330-5340_UG_EN.pdf

I have a Toshiba 3010DKT- SD. How do I change the greeting people get after hours when the phone is in "night"? Actually, how do I set up "night" mode?

Night greeting usually resides (and managed) in Mailbox 990 (Message #2). You'll need the passcode for that mailbox or your dealer will need to reset it.

How do change the outgoing "Night Mode" message in the Voice Mail System on NEC Electra Elite DTU 32D-1?

If you are using an Active Voice product (typical w/ NEC) you need to change the hours of operation on the voice mail system. "Night Mode" only changes the ringing characteristics of the phone system and where calls ring, not the greetings that play on the voice mail. The voice mail plays a particular greeting (Day/Night/Holiday) based on the time of day specified in the schedule. The system administrator for the voice mail would have to make this change.

Panasonic KX T7433 - I need to change the night mode message howevern when I select intercom 165 or intercom greeting and change the message I am unable to select the new message as the new night mode...

It's only that simple if you have a guide to what Custom Service or greeting plays now. When the system moves from Day to Night mode, the installer assigns a menu that plays. You can change it if you know which one. If you don't get the right one, there would be 98 other custom service and 31 other Company messages that you could record to and they'll never play.

Selecting a custom recording.

I was told that the day and night settings in the local applications must be the same. It is in your night call routing table that you need to place the extension in order for the system to know which recording to play when. Then, your system will play the application when it is set in night mode. Hint: When you place the extension in the call routing tables make sure the extension is placed ABOVE the +ALL CALLS line, if applicable, and your ring-in-destination is set to your appropriate application recording. I hope this helps.

How to change the voice mail message on KP DCS - 24B LCD samsung

I have the manual for the DCS series and there is no help regarding this.
It does say how to turn from auto to manual and make sure that the time is correct.
1. If the manual NIGHT key is pressed BEFORE the system automatically enters night service then the automatic night service timer tables will be overriden until the system is manually restored to day mode.
2. If AFTER the system automatically enters the night service tables and will not be overriden.

Setting our nigh-time message

Where is this message "set?" It should be in a custom service in your automated attendant. Which Custom Service is set up by your installer under Time Service for Night Mode. In addition, your Automated Attendant has to have a correct schedule to designate when Night Mode is in effect or be set to be under PBX Control. If the latter is true, your greeting will automatically play when you put the system in Night Mode.
