Mobile phone How do you change the number of times a mobile phone rings before it changes over the answer phone.

scammers can change the mobile number you see when they call. Its called number spoofing . This call at 5 am could be a robot calling that calls numbers from a call list and tests if someone answers the call and takes note of active phone numbers.

Look again, gotta be threre - if still cannot find just enter "changing rings for ----" on google and see what pops up.

The CS6719-16 isn't an answering machine. Please give us the make and model of the answering machine on which you'd like to change the number of rings.

You can select 2 to 7 rings, or "Toll saver".The default setting is "4 rings"."Toll saver": The unit's answering system answers at the end of the 2nd ring when new messages have been recorded, or at the end of the 5th ring when there are no new messages. The amount of rings before a call goes to voicemail is setup on the network itself and not the phone. Some mobile providers won't let you modify it and others will depending on your region. You would have to call your mobile provider for the availability of the option and the procedures. Sometimes you dial a number to change it other times it can only be changed manually by the provider.

Change the answer machine rings to answer number to less than the fax number of rings to answer or increase the number of rings to answer on the fax machine. Would need exact model number of phone system to give more detail on programming steps. Info should be in manuals of phone system and fax machine.

You have to dial a code into the phone and press send, it changes the ring time with t-mobile. Here are the instructions, key part is what number you choose to put in the ( ), (10) (15) (30), etc. You seem to be at (15) right now.

try this from your phone to extend the ring time
dial **61*18056377243**(5-10-15-30)# send

again, the numbers in() represent the amount of time you want the phone to ring before going to voice mail. this can only be done with t-mobile

To set or change the number of rings-to-answer, use the following steps:
1. On the all-in-one control panel, press Menu.
2. Use the < or the > button to select Fax setup, and then press tick
3. Use the < or the > button to select Fax Recv. setup, and then press tick
4. Use the < or the > button to select Rings to answer, and then press tick
5. Use the alphanumeric buttons to enter the number of rings-to-answer, and then press tick


But I still think picking up the phone earlier would be easier

press *94, then press the number of rings you want 1-9. The tone will change and thats it.
