I lost the instructions to my 9 ft GE Trim-a-tree TD I am not sure if I missed a plug or if I have a bulb burned out. I have 1/2 a branch in the middle of the tree not lit and 1/2 a branch on the other side higher up not lit. Is there a way to get the instructions for this tree? I can't find the serial # on the box.

I have the same problem and suspect it is a light that's out at the top section. Where do I find the Trim-A-Tree lights?

Same problem but many more lights involved. buy the $20 product called "light keeper pro" and follow the instructions. this device fixes this problem by either flashing a charge through the burned out section to 'heal' a failed shunt. if that doesn't work you can trace the current with the device to find where it is interrupted. the device chirps when it senses the 60 cycle hum of the a.c. current. replace buned out lights as soon as you find them as they cause an overload in the remaining lights in that circuit.

Jaclyn Smith 7 ft Stratford slim pine Christmas tree, need help with connecting lights

Plug in the lights to make sure all the bulbs are working. Starting at the top of the tree, intertwine the lights on top of and under branches. Work your way down and around the tree, hanging lights in the back as well. When you reach the bottom, hide any extra lights behind the tree

Change light bulb GE MOnogram Advantium Microwave oven

I have included a schematic of the interior of the built in Monogram Advantium Microwave oven Model KSC1001. The interior halogen light burned out and had to be replaced. GE service wanted $138 to come out & service it. I tried to find instructions on how to take it apart and remove the bulb & replace it on the WEB but had no luck with the Monogram series so I went to the dealer in Denver, CO and talked with their technicians and they gave me the schematic and sold me 2 bulbs for $11.00. The halogen bulbs can be purchased at Home Depot for about the same price. They are 35 watt with wide metal connectors.

Mine has 2 side trim pieces so these have to be removed first. They have latches on the top that slide behind the sides of the microwave and attach at the top. After removing the 4 screws holding the trim pieces, slide these upwards and then pull out to the sides. 2.) pull the microwave out and set it on a solid surface. 3.) there are approximately 23 screws that need to come out before you can slide & life the cover off the microwave 4.) Then look inside towards the front and left side (looking from the rear forward) for a small metal cover. There are 2 screws that hold it down. 5). Unscrew the 2 screws and gently lift the metal container up. This is the housing for the light bulb. 6.) gently pull the old bulb out and using gloves or a cloth insert the new bulb. You need to keep oils from your fingers from getting on the bulbs. The oils make the bulbs burn out quicker 7.) Put the container back and screw in the 2 screws being careful not to dislodge any wiring 8.) Slide the cover back on and replace all the screws 9.) plug it into an outlet and open the door to make sure the light works 10.) replace the microwave, plug it in and put the trim pieces back on. 11.) go to a movie with the money you just saved

Large tree in backyard keeps growing over wires. sent question weeks ago about this and no response.

trees and power lines are your responsibility
you have to trim the branches back from the lines or pay the power company to do the job
If the tree is on private property overhanging power lines on the foot path, the utility company will trim back to fence line or further if the branches are still to close to the lines
you first course of action is to ring the power company and talk about what can be done or if the trees and power lines are all on your property, get in tree lopping specialist and pay to have the job down

My tree is about five or six inches tall and has three major braches that spread very wide compared to the height. one of the three major branches is getting longer than the other two. should I trim it?

This is an old post, but I didn't see any replys, so I decided to answer. Trees are pruned to help it obtain and maintain a desirable shape and to help it to make more branches and become fuller.

With that in mind, if you have one branch that is out of shape, by all means you can prune it. I would cut it just above a bud node. That takes the "vertical" growth away from that branch and forces the rest of that branch to grow "out" not "up" by making more lateral branches and become fuller.

We purchased an Everstar pre-lit Christmas Tree and we can not locate the manual or instructions that came with the tree any help since half the tree doesn't light up and all the plugs are plugged in....

I have a 3 piece Everstar 7/12 slim pine and here are the plug portion of the assemblly instructions . "1) connect the plug(A1) of string with the end cord (B1) of string. 2) Insert the plug (B2 & C1) of string into the wall outlet. 3) After the plugs are plugged into the wall outlet your entire tree should be lit. If some bulbs do not light, search for any loose plugs, broken, loose or missing bulbs that may have caused the problem."
My illustration shows the A1 in the top section of the tree while B1 is in the middle section. Both the middle section and bottom section get plugged into the wall or extension cord. Hope this helps
