I own a Maytag Microwave that just stopped working. There is power to the outlet. Not even the clock is not working. The microwave is also the vent for the stove, which does not work. Any help would be appreciated. [email protected]

Microwave stops randomly on its own, dispaly flickers and I get prompted to enter clock settings, what should I do to fix it

When a microwave asks for the clock settings, it has lost power. Check the plug and the outlet for damage or if it is loose. When on, vibrations can cause the plug to reposition if loose enough. Even a very short loss of power will reset the microwave. If the plug/outlet is ok, then check to make sure that the fuse for the outlet is tightened fully (breaker switches do not have this problem). Last, try another outlet as the wiring to the outlet may be loose.

Why did my maytag microwave oven power go out completely?

1 your inline fuse blew
2your magnetron t-stat poped
3 bad voltage from outlet
test the outlet with a lamp, if that works it can only be the other two
open the door, take the screww off the control panel
and the vent cover, two screws on top
behind the control and vent you will see the mag t-stat, it should read continuity, and the inline fuse should be right above it a small glass tube fuse like a car

My microwave just quit workin. It has absolutely no power.

Make sure breaker isnt tripped. If breaker isnt tripped just for the sake of knowing plug a fan or something you know that works in the outlet. If it works, you have probably blown fuses in the microwave you'll have to take microwave apart to get to them.

After plugging in too many appliances to one breaker - I had an outage. NOW - my mmv4205 won't work at all.

Hello. check to be sure that you have power to the outlet where your microwave is plugged in. If you do then plug your microwave in and attempt to set the clock. IF you can not set the clock you most likely have a blown internal fuse. Call around to the various repair shops and tell them what you need. get an estimate from at least three shops.

Maytag microwave just died.

Take it back to the store and make them do something about them. If they dont then file a complaint with the BBB no reason for you to have to deal with this when it is there problem. It sounds like there is a venting issue and more going on

Not Working

Its most likley your control board located behind the touch pad. It may also be a temp. fuse mounted on the cabinet inside the control panel. You can ohm out the fuse to see if its good , if so replace the board.

Microwave stopped working

Generally, you get something unless the fuse inside is blown. There is generally a fuse inside the unit when you remove the button package. First, make sure that the outlet you have is good. Plug something else into it and see that it works.
