Door jam! the door on my front loader is stuck, locked shut. When the cycle is finished the unlockin clicks can be heard but it seems that when you squeeze the door release that jams and the door remains locked shut. any ideas on hoe too get my washing out without breaking the door?

Restart the machine...

On a NEW CYCLE... The first thing the machine
should attempt to do... is to drain itself.

If it does not...

UNPLUG IT... Restart it on a spin cycle ... or regular
wash cycle...

Possible that the safety link to the end cycle is not released. So check from the bottom to see the lock settings and check if the release link is stuck or the lock by itself is jammed.
Use a good degreasing spray like WD40 to remove any jamming in the door.Once released use the spray to wash off all dirt or foreign material from the lock setttings. The open and shut a number of times to clear the lock movement.

If the door remains locked and will not open, there is a manual release you can use to open the door. The following link explains how:

Sometimes using the manual release will correct a momentary door jam problem and return the washer to normal operation.

If the door continues to lock and not open, you may also try unplugging the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes problems are experienced as a result of a momentary glitch in the operation program. Resetting the CCU can often correct most minor problems.

Turn the power off and leave for 5-10 minutes then turn on. This should release the door lock the problem could be the pump drain filter is blocked clean this and it should resolve future problems.

There is an electrically controlled lock on the door that prevents opening while the machine is in operation, and sometimes for a short period after a cycle has finished.

Sometimes this lock can get stuck and requires some persuasion to release.

This may sound odd but try it:

Make a fist with your hand and bang the door, near the latch, with the side of your fist. Do this firmly, but obviously not so hard that you will damage the door or, more importantly, your hand. This can often release the latch that should have released automatically.

This worked for me. I turned off the washer and hit the area on the washer directly to the right of the door handle (not hard enough to break something or cause a dent). It popped right open.

call the repair man it is a comp. issue
