I bought Roxio Creator 2010 Pro and had an error while setting up the installation. I tried to repair it with the disc wizard but am now getting a message " setup encountered an error during installation. Error Code = O4C7 " When I tried to repair it with disc I got the message " Internal error 2753. CP Monitor.exe. ODF9F8F7_C930_457D_A621_BD6990E3A9A7 " My computer is a Dell Inspiron 9300. Can this be fixed? Please! My e-mail is [email protected] Thanks!

    My Dell model uses XP service pack 3 and while first-time installing new software, this message came up!

    Your suggestion was already tried and when I tried to " Repair / Remove " this was when I already got these messages!!

    Now the Roxio Program is still on the Add/Remove panel with 1KB and nothing on the Program List!

    No amount of attempts to get round this has succeeded. Even restoring comp. to an earlier date gives any success!

    So far, no joy?? Any other suggestions??

    Merry Christmas anyway! I'll also keep trying!

My suggestion to you right now is to uninstall the software, re-install it, and give the error that you received during installation.

prior to installing, i suggest you close anything running in the background.

Hello, Chris.

Here are the requirements for Roxio Creator 2010 Pro:

Microsoft® Windows Vista™ (32- or 64-bit), SP1 is required, Windows® XP SP3 (32- or 64-bit), Windows® 7 Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate (32-or 64-bit)

Since you have Windows XP - SP3 installed, your system should support the software.

So, I would suggest that from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, remove Roxio Creator 2010 Pro, restart your PC and then reinstall.

If still a problem, please let us know what was the error when setting up the installation.

I am using Roxio Creator 2010 and I am unable to capture video from a VCR. My computer recognizes that I have the Roxio Video Capture USB set up but I do not get a signal.

Running the RegCure won't help. Use RevoUninstaller to remove the entire program (Roxio) as Revouninstaller will show you all the registry entries which you can delete it very easily.

Is Roxio 9 compatibility with windows 7?

Roxio 9, Roxio Creator 9 and Roxio Creator 10 are different animals. Roxio 9 is 3 years old +. It likely will not handle 64bit or Windows 7.
Roxio Creater 9 is not listed as compatible with Windows 7

I am trying to install roxio pro. after i input the cd key the program stops the installing process ..... it shows a error code and stops klaus

I would first look to see if you have another CD burning program running like Nero or an older version of Roxio. I've heard that the InCD program interferes with installation.
Since you did not mention it, I guess there is no error reference except the number. I suppose you looked up that error number on Roxio's tech site (if you didn't, you should--since you bought this program, you are entitled to tech support to get it installed.

and search for "AShampoo Burning 6", download it, and install it.
It is FREE software for burning CD/DVDs.
