CHECK THESE THINGS..OK
1.Inspect the drain hose for kinks
2.Test the timer control
3.Test the lid switch (some models)
4.Inspect the water pump
5.Inspect the drive belt (belt drive only)
6.Inspect the motor coupler
The machine mite not be draing if so cheak the drain pipe to see if it is bloked or not installed properly. if the water drains out and you hear the moter running the belt might of gone. but if the machine if not making a nosie the moter might be gone and there is two things to cheak before getting a new moter 1 cheak the cables a blugged in sucurly 2 make sure the carbon brushes are ok if it seams all ok the moter might be broken or the control panel.hope this helps

If cleaning the drain hose is not clearing the problem for you, then you need to check the drain pump and/or the drain hose from the wash tub to the pump. These areas are notorious for clogging with debris.
