Right out of the box. doesnt work

Underinflated right front tire, blemish in right front tire, problem with brake pad area in right front wheel.

CHECK AND MAKE SURE THAT THE LAMP DOOR IS SECURE ON THE BACK OF THE TV.

Just take it back to where you bought it, and get them to show you that it works.
If it does not work, they will replace it.

return it and get a new one.

Samsung CLP-315 Dev Home error
It appears that the Dev. Home error is very common for Samsung printers. It obviously has different reasons. In my case I solved it by stabilizing the deviation clutch. It was too unsteady and the dev. sensor recognized a fault.
The dev. clutch is situated under the right cover, which is the power supply side of the printer. To remove this cover you need to firstly remove the top cover, which is held by two screws on the front. Then uncover the right side by unscrewing one screw on the back, near the power supply inlet and unclip a couple clips on the top side of the cover. After removing it you have to find the deviation electrical clutch. Check if it is too unsteady. If it easily moves, you need to somehow stabilize it, in my case by a couple of leather straps under it, so that they press it up and make it steady:

After that simply check if you have stabilized it properly. If you have the green light must turn on after switching the device on.

NB! Be extremely careful when power is ON, because there is high voltage running. I'd suggest that you would stabilize the thing with non metallic item to keep safe. Good luck!

You can always do a hard reset to the soho, but backup your system settings for this will factory reset the box because it will erase everything!
1) Unplug any devices from the all ports.
2)Unplug power cord.
3)Use paperclip to hold reset button.
4)While continuing to hold the reset button plug the power back in.
5)Watch the status light in front, when it turns on(the red light) wait until it turns back off, then release the reset button.

The whole reset process is about a one minute wait for the status light.

This would be weird for a sony but it sounds like the volume down button on the front of the set is stuck...very very uncommon for a sony. Try taking the bottom front cover off the set and unpluging the button assyembly then see if the remote works the set with it unpluged.

This is most probably a faulty Ballast ( lamp's powersupply ) that will have to be replaced before the Projector will come on at all.

I have just sussed out my stupidity.

After hunting through a few HP files on there support page (which was accessed by a strange tooolbox utility on my PC.

There is a removable input box on the back of the printer, the support page says 1) Check the power cord, 2) check the rear input box is installed.

we actually it was so a breif slap to check it was home fully appears to have sorted the problem

must have been a dodgy connection or sensor on the input box fully home position.
