Line 6 spider 210 volume problem

My spider line six 210 suddenly stopped working. When I turn it on, allthe lights come on but no sound comes out except for an occasionalcrackle or pop. Please help. Thanks.

I tried connecting my headphones and I got anquiet, but functional sound out of them. After I unplugged them therewas still no sound from the speakers, but after plugging and unpluggingthe headphones a few times the main speakers started working. The onlyproblem now is that the speakers are much quieter than they should be.Even when the amp is turned all the way up, it only plays at a mediumlow volume. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

The bypass switch in the headphone jack is likely broken. NEVER unplug the headphones while the amp is on.

There are certain small amps that have a possibilty of popping the power amp due to a feedback arrangement. Likewise, never use the headphone jack for ANYTHING other than headphones.

My Line 6 Spider II 210 won't make any sound from the guitar. When the amp powers on, the speakers pop a little so I know they are connected right. All of the lights are on and the channels can switch...

Bad soldering, especially around the jacks and plugs. Crack in the circuit board. Bad switch contacts on the headphone jack... all these are first things to check.
Here is your service manual for the unit:

Could be a few things, is there a line out or preamp out on this thing? If there is run a patch cable into that and run that to another amp, power amp, guitar amp or if you don't have those wire up RCAs to one end of an instrument cable or get a 1/4 inch converter and run it to an aux on a home stereo. Just something to see if the preamp is working. If it is then your power section is dead, if you get no sound from the preamp then your preamp is dead. Let me know what you find. Also is there a warranty on it?

Spider III amp stopped making sound

After making sure your guitar cable is OK (they often cause the problem) check the inout jack on the amp. They often get broken by yanking cable sideways.

Black boxes on the lcd screen of the spider 6 III amp

Make sure both the master volume and channel volume is up. If that does not do it, take it to the nearest Line 6 repair center.
