Kenmore 26 cu ft side by side refrigerator 596.51673100
Started to only cool freezer not refrigerator now both freezer and refrigerator not cooling. Is it the defroster?
I think the Adaptive Defrost Control may be your problem part number 12566102 You may find it inside the fresh food compartment and behind the controls where you adjust the tempertaures. I will return with photos and links, Sea Breeze

You can also click here=> Appliance 911 Repair and Help Forum and at top of page you will see the model 596.51673100 Controls Section. Click on photo and part 6 is the part but not very clear about location. It is behind the control panel. There are only two other possibilities and they are defrost heater and defrost thermostat found behind the rear panel of the freezer. Knowing that refrigerator the ADC that I mentiond is the most likely cause. Thanks,Sea Breeze
