Please try the self check feature this set has:
when power light comes on and then goes off: On the front of the set press and hold both Menu and Input (or device) buttons both for at least 5 seconds and then release both.
The power light should blink a two digit error code--like--2 blinks, a pause, 2 blinks..........it will repeat the error code several times.
Let me know what you find and I will tell you what the error may mean.

My WS 55511 does same thing. My remote will not work. I get 1 blink pause then 2 blinks. I can sometimes bring up device screen before it goes off but not menu screen.
