Samsung PS42P2S plasma tv faulty sound. when you switch on from cold sound crackles and pops from the speakers for about 30 seconds then its ok, when you switch off and on when tv has been on its ok, just if you leave it off for a while. anybody know whats wrong. This sounds like Y Sustain or Y Buffer problem
Because High voltage is involved in these circuits ( 185 Volts )
Refer it to a service tech .
But if you feel confident check the buffer ic's if hot or cold, maybe faulty

The model in question does not have standard speaker outputs, so there is no way to "directly" wire the speakers up.
Presumably because the TV has built in speakers.
However, you can use the audio outputs on the rear of the TV, Red RCA plug and White RCA plug to drive the speakers connected to a hi-fi system, Surround amp or similar?
The cables are very cheap, available from Argos and the like.

check audio cables wiggle them around if no difference in sound check other inputs if they all crackle call for service it sould be under warranty probably in the speakers or the input board
