Please help i could not open my laptop since yesterday because the power donot function when i turned and also dont light what happened my laptop the power supply is functioning but my laptop cannot on please help me godbless yuo lenovo y530

Check power adapter’s DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced.
If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard.
This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

Beeping sound when turned on and no picture on screen
hi there,

Take an advice; please dont turn this on and off just to fiddle with the power switch!
There is a Hardware malfunction with your system. Situation may go WORSE if you power it on again. It is a risk.

This might have happened as a result of internal circuitary is loosen up. It occurs mostly due to mishandling or dropping off the system accedentally.

All you need is to re-assamble the system with an expert help.
or take it to the dell outlet if you donot want to blame youself that some hardware has gone faulty... ( as I told already, Its a financial risk)

My laptop wont turn on
when you hit the on button the green light go off after a while, i suggest you bring it to technician your laptop is shutting down as it about to open, its either the sensor is not working and making it to overheat or the power switch is loose, hope this help

Does this happen a lot that you let it die when it has low power? This can damage the computers internal software for such operations, it is meant to be turned off through the off button under start etc. Try keeping it off of power, meaning take out the battery and the plug and leave it sitting for a cuple hours this should reset the system, it might help. Other than that I do not know, go to a local computer fixer persoN! !!

Try taking the battery out and booting it on AC power only, if it boots up turn it back off and reinsert the battery, turn the computer on, if it boots up all good, if not please post back.

Laptop Doesn't Turn On At All
To take out of hibernation,press the power button for less than 1 second.
Then go into the control panel and disable hibernation as described below.

Disable the your mouse's "ability to wake up computer" in device manager.
Use keyboard to wake up your computer.


Click Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Power Options > Hibernate tab.
Then clear the Enable Hibernation check box.

If this doesn't resolve the issue,Please post back.

Laptop won't turn on
anyway firstly check removing the battery and plug to a well functioning socket to power supply and test it yourself if it works and if it doesnt then post to me what happen after that and again does it brings light to know if it sees the battery at all if it sees the battery then try charging it for hours ok .

Toshiba Equium A200-1VO won't turn on
That 'cake tin' is almost certainly supposed to indicate the hard drive, not a good sign.
If the drive is not spinning up, you will have no access to anything else since no system functions will be loading.

Since this is not a terribly common system, you may both be looking at a series problem with the provided drive.
I suggest contacting Toshiba and inquiring there.
