I can not transfer to my computer the pictures of my daughter's digital camera Jazz jdc230
My daughter received a Jazz JDC230 for a present. We have installed the software and driver according to instructions and also downloaded an updated driver from their website. When we connect the camera to the computer via USB, the computer make a noise acknowledging the connnection, however, when we attempt to use the software to access the photos she has taken it says there is no connection. The camera is not visible in the "my computer" section as an additional, removable driver, either.
Currently, this camera is looking like a piece of junk.
It is NOT a problem with the cable, it is NOT a problem with the USB port.
It is NOT a problem with the computer, it is NOT a problem with the operating system.
Is MOST DEFINITELY IS a problem with either the sofware, the driver and/or the camera itself.

I had this problem too. I went to the company's website, digitac.us, and then to their download page, and downloaded the driver and uninstalled the original from the cd and then installed the new one from the website. After a few times trying to load the pictures, suddenly it worked. Note: when I installed the new driver software, the interface looked slightly different (this way you will know if you have the new driver software installed): there was one extra button on the bottom.
