Need help locating reverse light wire and speed signal wire for 2002 f350 7.3

Remove bulb holder and clean all connections especially the earth wire's

Not sure of the exact location but it IS on the transmission. It is a two-wire connector and has a very high probability of having a black plastic connector socket on the switch itself.

check the earth wire at the cluster and the conector wire.

need some more info is it manual or automatic. diesel or petrol, and engine cc. if auto it can be the signal is not getting to all locations as engine speed goes to auto box first then out of auto box a can go to other devices that need speed signal then to the dash. its the same for manual engines but no signal goes to the auto box control also a bad earth or bad plug on the cam/crank sensor can cause this.

that would suggest the reverse light switch is not working , this is located on the gearbox and has , usually , two wires to it and screws out like a bolt , hope this helps

if its 5 speed trans,try replacing the reverse light switch on the trans,it is located on top of the trans under the battery,,like $16 part,they go bad alot

Theres one more thing you can try.
Locate the gearbox, there should be a wire either hanging or not connected properly, connect that as it is the reverse sensor. This sends a signal to your lights as soon as you pop it into reverse.

the tcm is located in the fender well behind the bumper drivers side black box check the wiring for bad cannection,
