Patio Classic Grill Replacement parts

Hi,
I'm looking to replace the grills in my Patio Classic 3000 charcoal grill. I get no reply from the web site or phone lines. Have they gone out of business? If so has someone picked up thier inventory so I can order parts?

    Yeah, no luck finding spare parts. I need a charcoal grate for a 6000 series Patio Classic grill. Can't find 'em anywhere.

    Anyone have an update on the grill grate and other replacement parts for the Patio Classic or Kingsford oval charcoal grills? I just hate the thought of having to replace the entire grill -- it's only 16 years old. :)

Eureka! I found the company that makes Kingsford. It's called Masterbuilt Manufacturing Inc. They are located in Georgia. Their number is 1-800-489-1581. AND they have a parts department!

    Masterbuilt didn't make this vintage Kingsford grill...they've only picked up the Kingsford private label in the last 5-7 years, according to their customer service department. Patio made the football shaped Kingsfords.

There's a hinged cooking grate on Ebay right now (May 28, 2015) and it is stainless steel making it better than the original

They wen't out of business and no one took over the product! Talked to the company that took over their manufacturing facilities in Kentucky.

Need hinged cooking grate
Apparently, Patio Classic Grill Company, based out of Louisville, KY is no longer in business and OEM parts are hard to come by. I suggest check Weber Charcoal Grill Parts, as they make a similar model and the grill grates may be interchangeable.

Sorry, we don't sell anything on FixYa. However, if you get the dimensions of the grate you needand search around on Google for some the Grill Parts & Accessories sites and you're more than likely to find what you need. I will caution you, Stainless Steel Grates are expensive. Plus, they do not do well with charcoal. The charcoal gets so hot against, that it will pop and pit. It's not like doing it on a gas grill, where the heat is moist and the stainless retains it's integrity. Unlike coal or charcoal, which is an extremely dry heat. You may be better off with Cast Iron. Once it's seasoned, it should do better than Stainless Steel.

I am looking for the top and bottom grills for the patio classic 6000 grill . thanks for the help.
Check with Lowe's. They carry a large number of generic grates for gas and charcoal grills. However you must have the dimensions of the grates or take the old ones with you to the store to match them up.

if it is a 22" grill (like a weber kettle) you could probably use the weber version
since they are ready available at home depot or lowes at a cost of under 20 dollars

I could not find a replacement but used 2, 18" weber circular grates, one on each end and they overlap in the middle. It is not and ideal arrangement but it allows me to continue to use this discontinued charcoal grill that I love so much
