hi, its possible the earpiece of your phone is faulty...but for now you could try to put your phone on speakers whenever you want to recieve calls or make use of headset...

You need to restore factory settings of your k800i . your phone default code is 0000, go to setting then select restore setting or factory setting and enter code 0000 .

haha same problem here. but i know the problem. send it back to the factory. your speaker has a faulty wire in it. mine took 17 months to start with this problem. The factory will fix it but probably a large price tag will follow. you can also go to lg.ca and look for a repair shop. if you want to hear them tho, just try and hold it half way open and it might work, thats what works for me.
try to deal 112 if you hear something so theres nothing wrong about your ear piece. Try using its voice recorder to check if its mouth piece got a problem...
